The fishing pier is a short walk from Bay Vista RV park and of course there is easy beach fishing, wade fishing and explore and try your luck in the lagoons.  There are numerous fishing guides available in the area that provide an unforgettable fishing experience.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Walk along the beach<\/strong> &#8211; Enjoy a beautiful sunrise or sunset as you walk along the beach.  Pick up some shells and maybe a sand dollar or two.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Visit historic Indianola<\/strong> &#8211; Learn about the early history of Texas and the Indianola area.  Visit the La Salle Monument where some of the earliest settlers first set foot on Texas soil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493
